East Coast Film Locations: Oversized Set Stills by Muky: Dog Day Afternoon, Midnight Cowboy, 12 Angry Men, Friends of Eddie Coyle +. Menyhert Munkacsi (1909-1999) known throughout the film industry for 60 years as "Muky" and who the New York Times called "the Mathew Brady" of film when they profiled/reviewed the outdoor set photography of some 75 films. He was also an accomplished studio photographer working for Warner Brothers from 1930 to 1940. Muky was New York/New Jersey based and captured the grit and realism in many of his stills. This collection of over eighteen (18) photographs demonstrate what made him so great. Almost all photographs signed by Muki in lower right corners
