The book itself is filled with beautiful color photos, past and present (early 60s). Jacqueline Kennedy was responsible for the first White House Guidebook and her facsimile letter appears after the Kennedy dedication page. This was one of the first copies of the new guide off the press and was signed by a president proud of his wife's accomplishment - the guide itself and her refurbishment of historic rooms pictured in the guide.
