Hungary. Ducat, 1622. Fr-98; KM-78. Kremnitz mint. 3.48 grams. 22.9 mm. Ferdinand II, 1619-1637. Crowned monarch standing within inner circle, armored and caped with orb and cross in left hand and scepter in right, K-B in field. Leg: FERD.D.G.RIS - A.GE.HU.B.REX. Reverse: Madonna in 'flames', child in left hand and scepter in right within inner circle. Leg: .AR.AV.DV.BV.MA. (shield) MO.CO.TY.1622. Original mint fresh luster, very choice and rare this nice. NGC graded MS-65.

This is about as choice as anyone could hope for. The Kremnitz mint, known as "Kremnica" as well, became one of the most important mints in central Europe.
