Jewish Coinage. Roman Judaea Capta Series. Vespasian, 69-79 CE. AE Sestertius minted at Rome, 71 CE. Laureate head right of Vespasian. Reverse: Palm tree; to left, captive standing right; to right, personification of Judaea seated right on cuirass; both figures surrounded by arms. Some tooling and a rather deep scratch in right obverse field. Attractive medium green patina. Very Fine.
