Billie Dove, "Cock of the Air" (1903 - 1997) Billie Dove was an American actress who appeared in numerous silent films in the 1920s and 1930s. She began her career as a model, and then transitioned into acting, appearing in The Ziegfeld Follies Revue. Dove began to appear in silent films in 1921 and quickly became a popular leading lady, starring opposite many of the top male stars at the time. She was known for her beauty and her ability to convey emotion on screen.

This bound album holds 122 still photographs from the 1932 American pre-Code aviation comedy film, Cock of the Air, starring Billie Dove, Chester Morris, Matt Moore, Walter Catlett, Luis Alberni, Kathryn Sergava, Yola d'Avril, Vivien Oakland, Émile Chautard, Ethel Kenyon, and Peggy Watts.
