Rare, Authentic, Vintage Original Hermès "Fish" Magnifying Glass in Vintage Original Presentation Box ca. 1960s. Hermès, the French luxury design house has been making elegant goods and lifestyle accessories along with their perfumes, silks and other fashion items for 185 years. Rare magnifying loupe, silver gilt over brass (two flea bites on verso at very edge reveal the base metal) designed for easy handling with the fish tail lifted. Loupe comes in its custom fitted original Hermès jewel box covered in gray pin stripe fabric. Inside box, Hermès is stamped on white satin liner with the 24 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Paris address. On verso, Hermès is clearly stamped onto bottom edge.
For collectors, this is a fantastic find and quite functional
