Designers, Michel Navas and Enrico Barbasini have created an exceptional automatic time piece in 18K white gold where the movement was diminished from 30mm to 21mm in diameter allowing for intriguing transparency. The Tambour line for Louis Vuitton has placed them firmly with the world's most elite brands.
The LV Tambour Spin Time Air watch uses LV signature round flanked case combined with the superior strap system which gives the watch a striking appearance But the unique read of the dial is what makes this wristwatch a joy. The minute hand is normal, but the hour markers flip to variations of enamel in red, white and blue marking each distinct hour of the day - otherwise the markers spell out Louis Vuitton in black letters on white gold.
Without question a collector's dream but this edition does not end there. The watch is presented in a gentleman's jewelry box by Louis Vuitton in their signature chocolate Taurillon leather. The jewelry box (7 x 12.5 x 9.5") alone would retail for upwards of $6000. Top level is for the watch, underneath one finds a slim leather case holding two additional watch bands in navy and black, both made of genuine alligator, additional compartments for other jewelry, a set of keys and the booklet having product information and warranty registry intact.
