Billie Dove, Signed Contracts Silent Screen Star (1903 - 1997) Billie Dove was an American actress who appeared in numerous silent films in the 1920s and 1930s. She began her career as a model, and then transitioned into acting, appearing in The Ziegfeld Follies Revue. Dove began to appear in silent films in 1921 and quickly became a popular leading lady, starring opposite many of the top male stars at the time. She was known for her beauty and her ability to convey emotion on screen.

Glimpse into the life of a 1920's actress and her rise to stardom with this collection of nine contracts, signed contracts with some of the greatest film production companies: Columbia Pictures, Metro Pictures Corporation, William Fox Vaudeville, and Universal Pictures Corporation. These contracts span most of Billie's film career, the earliest contract dated April, 1922 and the latest contract dated September 1926. Estimated Value $100 - 200
