SUPERMAN COLLECTION: Two Signed Pieces by Kirk Alyn one a Superman of America Membership Certificat and Noel Neill Signed Photo. This exemplary lot features the great firsts of the Superman legacy. Included are two signed photos and an exclusive Supermen of America membership certificate.
1.) Autographed Photo by Kirk Alyn - Alyn starred in the 1948 film "Superman" and its 1950 sequel "Atom Man vs. Superman". These two films were the very first live-action adaptations of Superman, and Alyn’s portrayal of the Man of Steel helped establish and set the standard for future portrayals of the character.
2.) "Supermen Of America" membership certificate #266057, signed by Kirk Alyn - The original Supermen of America was an official Superman fan club that ran from 1939 until 1965. Readers could send away for and receive special membership cards that also doubled as decoders. Members also received buttons and special certificates.
3.) Autographed Photo by Noel Neill as Lois Lane to her second- Superman, George Reeves. Indeed Neill played Lois Lane to two Superman leads, a great bit of trivia to know. Estimated Value $400 - 600
