Lot 389

1834 Coronet Head Cent. PCGS graded MS-62 Brown. Choice lustrous bluish steel brown with faded mint red in protected areas, especially on the obverse. No spots or stains. The best identifying mark is a tiny tick between the date and star 13. MDS with slightly reflective fields thanks to a fresh die lapping. The fine die crack to the left foot of the first A in AMERICA is weakened but still visible, and the spikes from the dentil tips under the 834 are gone. Excellent eye appeal. Our grade is AU55. Pop 1; 1 in 63; 3 in 66. DWH #0827 (PCGS # 37054) .
Estimated Value $400-UP.
