Lot 378
US Army Model 1862 Bayonet for Remington's "Zouave" Rifle. Overall length 25" with a 20" steel blade, this marked with a tiny "H" on the ricasso. The hilt and guard assembly in heavy brass marked "1" and "S" on either side of the guard, and with "B.H." inspection mark on the hilt. The blade with minor age tone, spotting and light oxidation, but still nice. Includes the original black leather scabbard with brass throat and tip, showing minor age, light cracks and scuffing, but overall very good condition.
