1835 C-1 R1 PCGS graded MS64 Brown, CAC Approved. Lustrous light olive and steel brown with subtle hints of underlying rose from faded mint color bleeding through the toning. There are a few microscopic ticks on the jaw and a tiny speck of dark toning between the C & E in CENT, but neither mark is visible to the unaided eye. LDS, Manley state 2.0, with strong die clashmarks on both sides. The repunching on the 3 & 5 is still visible and the reverse is rotated 20 degrees clockwise. Our grade is MS60+. PCGS #1168. Pop 139; 46 graded higher at PCGS for MSBN. Estimated Value $400 - UP
