Russia. Medal, ND (1895). Similar to Diakov-1005. Struck in silver. 51.4 grams. 42.7 mm. By A. Scharff. Struck in Vienna. Given to the visitors of the G.D. George Mikhailovich's collection. Obverse: St. George on horseback slaying dragon with sword. Reverse: Seated woman in ancient clothes inspecting a coin while leaning on a board with inscription NUMIZMATIKA (Numismatics). Young workman with a hammer to right. Cornucopia, book and vase nearby on the ground. Incuse lettering on the edge with the date 18*95. Lightly cleaned. Lustrous and Very Rare. Extremely Fine.
