1834 C-1 R1 Obverse counterstamped W.H.SCOTT, Brunk S-235. Fine-12. Recolored glossy bluish steel and chocolate. A rim bruise at stars 6-7 is the only significant mark. Strongly stamped across the obverse, stronger on the right end than on the left but every letter is clear. Brunk says this stamp was made by a dry goods dealer in Philadelphia who operated there from 1825 to 1845. This example is the Brunk plate coin for the variety.
