Lot 360
1909-D. PCGS graded MS-65. Frosty and white. The silvery hue alternates between levels of frost and satin-texture. Lustrous and accurately graded with pleasing surfaces. A munificent strike, as well as freedom from the often-seen clash marks for this issue, and where insufficient die pressure occurs all too often on Liberty’s hair above her brow. That is why this is a Mint State 65 Gem to jump at before it's sale is history. Pop 15; 17 finer, 14 in 66, 3 in 66+ (PCGS # 4851) . Estimated Value $1,900 - 2,000.
