1891, $20 Silver Certificate. . Fr-318. . KL-588. PCGS graded About New 50. Scarce, as are all large size $20 silver certificates, these early issues were mostly redeemed. The denomination was dropped after the Series 1891 notes. The allegorical figures to either side of the head of Daniel Manning represent Agriculture and Industry. The back is less cluttered with ornamental scrollwork than the Series 1886 Type.
