Early 19th Century Mexican Retablo of Madonna and Child, Oil on Tin. Lovely Mexican retablo of the Madonna and Child oil on tin. The retablo measures 9 x 7¼". Very nice detail throughout. Typical with retablos of this age, there are bends at edges, some wear and light rusting. The face on the Madonna is quite lovely, the child does have paint loss but overall still a lovely piece.
