Easy Rider's Peter Fonda, Jack Nicholson, Dennis Hopper Signed Helmet. Released in 1969, EASY RIDER about two bikers "in search for America" proved one of the defining moment in film that lasted into the early 70s. Looking back at it now is akin to opening a time capsule of the counter-culture movement. Nevertheless the film does have a ragged power that is evident even today coupled with memorable performances, writing and at times powerful direction. Directed by Peter Fonda and co-written with Terry Southern and co-star Dennis Hopper, this low budgeted film enjoyed a phenomenal success that upended the film industry for a time trying to duplicate it. But as for performances, Jack Nicholson was the clear winner as an alcoholic lawyer who joins the duo on their road trip and his career deservingly exploded in popularity. Offered is a stars and stripe helmet similar to Fonda's character in the film. It was autographed over three seaparate occasions. Peter Fonda singned his name and printed "Captain America" in silver Flair, Jack Nicholson signed in black marker and Dennis Hopper signed as "D Hop--" and then did print "Billy". Great condition. Helmet is not a screen-used prop, but an un-used D.O.T. Daytona Cruiser 3/4 Shell Helmet, without visor, size large. $800
