Great Britain. Florin, 1849. S. 3890; ESC-802; KM-745. Victoria, 1837-1901. WW by bust. Milled or reeded edge. Obverse: Crowned portrait of Victoria facing left, with hair braided and ornate gothic-style bodice VICTORIA REGINA 1849. Reverse: Crowned cruciform shields and legend ONE FLORIN - ONE TENTH OF A POUND. Gem Uncirculated with a light blue tone. Wonderfully clean surfaces for a currency coin of this age, and as attractive as a Proof. A desirable one-year currency type-coin. NGC graded MS-66.
