Andy Warhol Signed Campbell's Soup Can Store Display. Andy Warhol proved the most prolific, popular and celebrated pop art figure of the 1960s - 1980s, whose work examined artistic expression as seen through celebrity culture and advertising. His work is instantly recognizable and commands prices that astound today. A popular figure on the New York scene, Warhol was remarkably accessible and available to fans. Offered here is a signed piece of considerable wit. Warhol autographed a point-of-sale display for a can of Campbell's soup likely used in grocery store aisles or window displays. This a tribute to his celebrated soup can series of the late 1960s. Signature is bold and very clean. The display has creasing within the top and bottom 1-2 inches. Fortunately not terribly distracting or diminshes the appeal. 16½ x 9½, signature in black marker. $600 - 800

Realized $504
