Great Britain. Proof Half Farthing, 1830. S.3826; P-1452; Cooke-1606 Reverse type B; KM-704.2. George IV,1820-30. Obverse: Laureate bust of King left. Reverse: Britannia seated right with shield and trident, prongs of trident reach only base of legend. In a new NGC 4 prong holder. NGC graded MS-63 Brown.

*The half farthings of George IV are all rare in high grade and were issued in low numbers solely for use in Ceylon. The proofs are seldom encountered in any grade. Peck describes this piece as 'Very Rare.'.
