Kennedy, Robert F. Typed Letter Signed ("Bob") twice as Attorney General, on official letterhead, Washington, October 3, 1962, 1 pg., quarto. To Senator John L. McClellan, Chairman of the Senate Subcommittee on Appropriations, thanking him "for the kind consideration given the Department of Justice budget requests for the fiscal year 1963. I am particularly pleased with your action in restoring the $950,000 estimate for the new psychiatric hospital…." Kennedy signs once at the close of the letter, and adds a note at the very bottom, "Many thanks to you. Bob" Very Fine.
