1794 S-54 R3 VF20. Sharpness near VF35 but there is some verdigris and other crud caked into protected areas on both sides while most of the planchet is smooth. Just a few minor contact marks including a fine, old scratch on the chin and a tiny rim nick over the first S in STATES. Glossy medium brown with dark olive brown in protected areas. M-LDS, Breen state III, with die clashmarks on both sides. The date and legends are complete and clear. This cent offers better eye appeal than the description might imply. Removed from a PCGS slab called Genuine, XF Details, Environmental Damage (PCGS label #901374.97/84022993 included). Estimate Value $2,000 - UP
