Ships' Memorabilia - Artifacts From the U.S.S. Missouri and Other Ships. Three made from teakwood from the deck of the U.S.S. Missouri, a plank nut from the Missouri, plus a modern commemorative box; a panoramic vintage photo of the U.S.S. Lexington (sunk in the battle of Midway); a 1919 photo of the U.S.S. Monaghan, framed with a piece of a "Homeward Bound Pennant" made of French silk; a red and white sailor's arm band "USS Pompano April, 1937" (the submarine was lost on 8/29/43); a book of the war record of the U.S.S. San Francisco; a pair of cast aluminum bookends with "1944 New Guinea," probably made from a Japanese Zero; a photo of the U.S.S. Oregon; and a photo of the U.S.S. Jack, with four signatures. Should be seen to be appreciated. Estimate $400 - 600
