Alan Maley. "Tell Me". Alan Maley American/English, 1931-1995. Very popular artist whose works capture views of life at the turn-of-the-19th into the 20th Centuries. Maley depicted elegantly dressed women in genteel settings that emphasize their leisurely pace of life. Many of his scenes are from Europe, especially Paris.

He was also involved in set painting for the motion picture industry, including Walt Disney Productions, which brought him to California. He was awarded an Oscar for his visual effects in the Walt Disney production of "Bedknobs and Broomsticks".

Another wonderful piece by Maley, 250/450 of two women of some means enjoying each other's company and catching up on the latest, especially given the title he gave the work, "Tell Me". COA personally signed by Maley affixed on verso. Beautifully framed in keeping with the period with the lithograph and frame in excellent condition. 32 x 41". Estimated Value $600 - 1,000
