Caracalla, 198-217 AD, as Caesar. AE Sestertius, Rome mint, struck 196-197 AD. Rare. Draped childish bust of Caracalla right. Reverse: Minerva standing left, holding spear, resting hand on shield. RIC 399; C. 564. Some smoothing to fields, with faint tooling. Pleasing green and red patina. About Very Fine.
