L. Mussidius Longus, moneyer. AR Denarius minted at Rome, c. 42 BC. Diademed and veiled bust right of Concordia. Reverse: Two statues of Venus Cloacina upon platform. Mussidia 6b; Cr. 494/42a; Syd. 1093. A particularly well-detailed and centered reverse. Lightly toned; Extremely Fine.
These statues were formerly situated at the Roman Forum.
