Syria, Seleukid Kingdom. Cleopatra Thea and Antiochos VIII, 125-120 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.56 g) minted at Ake-Ptolemais in Palestine. Jugate busts right of Cleopatra and Antiochos VIII. Reverse: Zeus seated left on throne, holding Nike and scepter; to left, monogram. Houghton (ANS NAC 4) 804; Newell (ANS NNM 84) plate 13, 8. Light silver chloride deposits removed. Choice Very Fine.
