Cilicia, Tarsos, Satrapal Coinage. Datames, 378-362 BC. AR Stater (10.29 g). Baal of Tarsos seated right, holding eagle-tipped scepter and corn-ear; all within crenelated walls of the city. Reverse: The sky-god Ana standing right in attitude of veneration of the satrap, standing left. SNG von Aulock 5948; SNG France 291. Some smoothing, but with excellent detail. Extremely Fine.
