Louwelsa Ewer. Height: 4-½". This petite, right-handed ewer with fluted mouth and stylized handle bears a single yellow rose. Artist Josephine Imlay has written her monogram JI in the glaze to the right of the handle. The Louwelsa Weller half-circle seal is impressed to the base, in addition to the numbers 5, 8, and 510. With some minor surface scratches and glaze imperfections, as well as some small flakes to the glaze along the rim of the spout; in very good condition.
