1912-S. PCGS graded VG-10. Popular key date. Once five-cent coinage production began at the San Francisco Mint in 1912, there was time for only 238,000 nickels to be struck before the switch was made to the newly authorized Buffalo nickel. Scarce in all grades (PCGS # 3875) .
