Outstanding Achaemenid Bronze Bowl with Three Rows of Hand Incised Bands. Beautiful bronze bowl from the Achaemenid Empire boasting beautiful hand incised detailing and a fantastic green patina intermixed with the bronze tones that are still revealed. This is a classic shape copied by both Greeks and Romans. It does appear this bowl is missing its original stemmed foot, with the bottom of bowl professionally restored with a discrete plug only visible when turned over. 3¼ x 4 x 4".
