Lot 2262
1837 N-10 R1 Beaded Hair Cord. The "Accessory N" Variety. PCGS graded MS-65 Brown. Frosty steel brown with attractive, satiny surfaces and hints of underlying very faded mint color showing through on the obverse. The only defects are two small spots of darker toning in the dentils below the 37 in the date and a faint fishhook-shaped struck-through line just right of the eye (caused by a piece of debris on the die). Nicely struck E-MDS. The stray N (so called "Accessory N" hidden in the leaves under the N in UNITED) is sharp. EAC grade MS62+ very close to MS63.
