1849 N-26 R3 PCGS graded AU50. Glossy medium brown and light chocolate with very dark steel toning on the highpoints of the obverse, especially from star 3 to star 6. Just a few small contact marks including a rough nick on the left foot of the N in ONE. MDS, die state b. The earlier die lines left of star 3 are gone. Our grade is EF45 sharpness net EF40 for the darker highlights on the obverse. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
