Thomas Edison Concert Phonograph Player ca. 1899. Large, Heavy Player that Used 5" Wax Cylinder Records. In Beautiful Condition. A truly fine Thomas Edison Concert Phonograph with handsome oak base (with drawer) and Player has been beautifully kept for 110+ years with the base black painted base and gold gilt lettering and scroll work having very few scratches. Crank works pefectly, hitting switch on left side engages the belt and the drum turns. The eye appeal of this piece is through the roof. A fine antique for home or office. We have included two concert player wax cylinders in box.
Note player is heavy. It will require two large boxes to ship this lot. 17 x 17 x 12". Cover is 18 x 16 x 11". Again, a great example of the Edison Player for any level of collector, that needs to be seen and heard. Estimated Value $1,200 - UP
