Volume I: title page & 40 pp text and tables; II: engraved original hand colored title page and 34 full page uncolored copperplate engraved celestial charts. Bode's first edition German 1782 version of J. Fortin's French atlas of 1776, both works based on John Flamsteed's famous atlas of the mid 18th century.
Original quarter-calf and speckled cardboard covers are very worn with moderate soil. Scattered toning throughout; pencil Ids inside covers. The charts are still bright and clear, with very little soil, and in very good condition. Good condition overall.
