1807/6 S-272 R4+ Overdate Small 7 over 6 F12. Sharpness VF30 but covered with uniform fine roughness. No marks or verdigris. The details are well-defined and the overdate feature is bold. Very slightly glossy dark steel brown with lighter brown toning in protected areas. EDS, Breen state I. One of the sharper examples known and still at the lower end of the condition census in spite of the imperfect surfaces.
