1924 $20 St. Gaudens. PCGS graded MS-63. Very frosty and choice, the affordable dates in the 1920s are mainly struck at Philadelphia, which produced the largest number. Millions were saved at the time of the government 1933 confiscation, many worked their way to Europe or South America in payment for American imports from those regions, and later found their way back to United States shores (in the 1970s and 1980s decades) (PCGS # 9177) .
