Fine 18th Century Ottoman Turkish Kirk Narduban Watered Steel Wootz Kard Dagger. 18th century Indian kard mounted with a finely wrought handle with gold koftgari designs throughout in complete original condition with the original silver mounted scabbard. There is a small flame design at the tip of the scabbard paralleling the koftgari flames on the handle. But it is the blade that is especially well made with a very finely visible kirk narduban pattern throughout. This is a very nice piece, well cared and quite sharp. Overall length is 14" and the blade 8½". Estimate $800 - 1,000
