1906-D. PCGS graded MS-64. Well struck with rich golden toning. Billowy luster on both sides. The year 1906 is important for Denver, it is the first year coins were struck at the new Mint there, and this obviously this attractive MS64 was one of their best efforts. There were four mints striking Gold eagles in 1906, Philadelphia, Denver, New Orleans, and San Francisco. Pop 193; 36 finer (PCGS # 8760) .
