1848 N-42 R5+ PCGS graded VF35, CAC Approved. Glossy medium brown with slightly darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. Nearly free of marks, just lightly worn. The only notable marks, and they are barely visible, are a faint horizontal hairline left of the ear and a small nick close over star 12. MDS with the obverse slightly misaligned to K-6. Our grade is VF20, tied for CC#9 in the Grellman census. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 3 finer: 1 in 55, 1 in 58+, 1 in 63.
