1799 S-189 R2. PCGS graded VG-8. Attractive glossy medium brown and light chocolate. The surfaces are smooth and this cent has great eye appeal for the grade. There are some contact marks consistent with the grade including a tiny rim nick off the bust tip, a dull diagonal nick on the left edge of the C in CENT, and a thin nick up from the right top of the N in ONE. MDS. The date and LIBERTY are both strong. A very nice lower grade 1799 cent. Graded VG8 net VG7 by Noyes, his photo #39636. Our grade is VG8.
