Lot 190

1848 N-39 R5+ PCGS graded MS60 Brown. Attractive frosty medium brown. Although it received a mint state grade from PCGS there is a touch of friction on the highpoints of the devices. Just a few small marks including a small dig on the neck near the hair below the ear and a pair of small scuff marks in the field under the chin. LDS. The earlier die lines over UNI are gone. Our grade is EF45, tied for CC#3 in the Grellman census. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 2 finer: 1 in 62, 1 in 64. Estimated Value $1,000 - UP
