Huntington, Jedidiah (1743-1818) Revolutionary War general; appointed collector of the port of New London, Connecticut by President Washington. Partly-printed Pay Order Signed "J Huntington" diagonally across the printed text and signatures of two pay-table committee members (Wales and Moseley), 5½" x 6½", printed on laid paper, n.p., 4 Feb 1782. Orderding treasurer John Lawrence to pay the Sharon Committee of Supplies one shilling and seven pence. Very good; affixed at center back to a larger page.
