Lot 183

1848 N-33 R5+ ANACS graded EF45. The obverse is glossy dark olive brown while the reverse is frosty light to medium brown. No roughness, only a few small contact marks. The notable marks are a dull nick in the center of the cheek and two small, dull rim nicks below the second 8 in the date. E-MDS. The die lines on the obverse are sharp. Our grade is VF25+, CC#16 in the Grellman census. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the ANACS label. Estimated Value $300 - UP
