1929, $5 National Bank Note. The Farmers NB of Bucks County, Bristol, PA. Ch. #717. PCGS Choice About New 55PPQ. Fr-1800-1. KL-1170. This note has all the hallmarks of a Gem, with wide margins, good centering, and fully original and bold embossing. A couple of corner folds are evident after close inspection, and are all that limit the grade; this is a perfect example of how an assigned third-party grade--although technically and completely accurate--doesn't always tell the whole story.
