Group of Three Coins of Hadrian, AD 117-138. Lot includes AE sestertius with reverse: Hadrian standing to right, raising right hand, facing Judaea, who holds a box and patera over altar; altar is flanked by two children; around, ADVENTVI AVG IVDAEAE. RIC 894; H. 798. Good toVery Good.

Also includes two Very Fine Hadrian denarii, one with a sailing vessel on the reverse. Lot of 3 coins. Good to Very Good.

Hadrian traveled across his entire empire during his reign. In AD 130 he traveled from Arabia to Egypt by way of Judaea. This sestertius commemorates his visit to Judaea.
