1869, $10 United States Note. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64. Fr-96. . KL-362. A beautiful "Rainbow" $10 with broad margins for the grade, and all the eye appeak in the world. It comes from a known run of high grade examples, and looks as lovely as it must have nearly a century and a half ago when it was fresh off the printing plates. It has been described by another auction company when previously sold as being "a breath away from a higher grade," and this cataloger certainly doesn't disagree.
