1848 N-29 R3- NGC graded MS64 Brown. Glossy light olive and steel brown with generous traces of frosty mint red on both sides. Satiny luster covers the fields and protected areas and this cent has excellent eye appeal. No contact marks, only a few minor spots. The notable spots are a small puff of slightly darker toning below the 18 and a spot at the right point of star 13. E-MDS, die state a, before the small rim cud formed over star 8. Our grade is MS60, tied for CC#7 in the Grellman census. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the NGC label. NGC population 2; 2 finer in 65. Estimated Value $450 - UP
