Lot 1653

1888 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. Population of only 1 . NGC graded MS-67 *. A marvelous example with superb eye appeal as the star designation notes on the holder. A mostly well struck specimen, a trifle soft on the upper stars around Liberty's head, with pristine frosty mint surfaces throughout. A splash of natural iridescent sunset toning covers the lower portion of the obverse while the reverse exhibits light mottled toning with turquoise about the borders. This gem is certainly a candidate for Finest Known.
Estimated Value $9,500 - 10,500.

Realized $11,040
